About public sector e-training:
Public sector e-training provides an attractive alternative to face-to-face instruction by delivering high-quality online training that is thorough, flexible and affordable.
Thorough:
These courses are designed and developed by experienced project managers using an extensive network of subject matter experts, writers, artists, instructional designers and media production technicians. Open School BC creates and delivers courses that deliver high-quality and consistent online training.
Flexible:
Public employees have busy schedules which can make it difficult to fit in important training. E-training offers employees the convenience of working at their pace, anywhere at anytime - 24 hour a day - 7 day a week. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection.
Our courses are divided into modules allowing a person to start and stop their training to fit into their schedule. Trainees can take their time and revisit modules to truly master topics.
Affordable:
Hiring a trainer, securing and renting a space, getting all your employees to attend (and travel to that space) and interrupting their workdays is costly and expensive. E-training offers an affordable alternative. Our courses are designed to run on standard computers and require no special software. If your employees can navigate a webpage, they can take one of our courses.
