Ministry Approved

All K–12 resources are developed to address the BC Ministry of Education’s prescribed learning outcomes. Open School BC works with BC teachers in the planning, writing and reviewing of resources to ensure they reflect the needs of BC educators and learners.

Online Consortium

Open School BC’s online services include two learning management systems to host online courses, tools for using these systems, as well as a repository of digital learning resources.

Independent Developer

Open School BC resources and services are available to all BC schools, school districts, teachers, students and their parents. We operate on a cost-recovery basis and reinvest to create additional resources and services to support K–12 education.
