Assignment #1—Evaluating a Scientific Claim
 Before doing this assignment, check with your teacher to see if it's required.
- Look in a newspaper, magazine, or on television to find (or describe) an advertisement that either demonstrates poor science (i.e., strong bias) or good science (valid).
- In paragraph or point form, evaluate the advertisement by using the series of questions you learned in Step 3 of this activity.
- Submit your evaluation and the advertisement or description of it to your teacher.
