Contact your teacher to determine whether you are required to complete and submit the SOS assignments.
Look in a newspaper, magazine, or on television and find (or describe) an advertisement that, in your opinion, is based on faulty scientific claims. The claims may suffer from lack of evidence, strong bias, lack of repeatability or other flaws.

If you can’t find one, please go to Tool #2. In four paragraphs, evaluate the advertisement using the series of questions you learned about in Step 2 of this activity. Submit your evaluation to your teacher as an email attachment. |
