Science as Critical Thinking

    Science is a way of thinking; but not just any old kind of thinking will do. Progress in science depends upon the kinds of questions we ask, the predictions we make, and the way we test those predictions.

    Before the scientific process was developed, there was no systematic way to distinguish misconceptions about the world from correct ideas.
