Materials for graphing
You will need:
- ruler
- pencil
- graphing paper
Graphing Checklist
All graphs must have:
- a meaningful title that describes what is shown in the graph
- an independent variable plotted on the x-axis
- a dependent variable plotted on the y-axis
- labelled axes (including a name, symbol (where appropriate), and the units of measurement)
- appropriate scale (choose a scale that displays the data clearly—the graph should be about half a page in size, and each division on the axes should be equal)
- points plotted with a small closed dot
