Lesson 3: The Pyramids

Send In Activity 3:
Option A: Pyramid or Sphinx Poster

Make an electronic poster showing and describing the Great Pyramids of Giza or the Sphinx. If you prefer, you may make a paper poster instead and submit a digital photograph of it for marking. (15 marks)

Pyramid Poster
The poster should include drawings or electronic images of the Pyramids and information about:

• the age of the pyramids
• the height and size of the pyramids
• passages inside the pyramids

Sphinx Poster
The poster should include drawings or electronic images of the Sphinx and information about:

• the age of the Sphinx
• the purpose of the Sphinx
• three other facts you have learned about the Sphinx
