Biological diagrams must be done according to the following specifications.
1. drawn in pencil
2. length or width of at least 5 cm
3. label all diagrams:
- title
- magnification
- type of section
- various parts
- scale used
4. section types:
- smear – smear
- x.s. – cross-section
- l.s. – longitudinal section
- t.s. – transverse section
- w.m. – whole mount
