MarketSafe for Potential Instructors

This course provides training on food safety and safe food handling procedures for market vendors, managers, farmers, food processors, and others who may make, bake or produce food products for temporary markets (e.g. farmers' markets, artisan markets).

Learners will cover topics like proper food storage and display, key elements of sanitation and food cleanliness, and explore foodborne illnesses (and how to avoid them in your products). This course is not a replacement for FOODSAFE Level 1.

Instructor Designation

If you are interested in becoming a MarketSafe face-to-face instructor in the future: You may self-identify as a potential instructor when you register for the course.

Note: Local health authorities have more requirements to become an Instructor.

Course Withdrawal & Refund Policy

  • Refunds can only be requested before you access any course content. Once you've accessed the course, refunds are no longer available.
  • If you're eligible for a refund, your MarketSafe for Potential Instructors course will be removed. A $35 administration fee will be deducted, and you'll receive a partial refund for your purchase.
  • To request a refund, please forward your electronic receipt to our customer service department.

Extensions

Extensions are only provided for extenuating circumstances, such as death in the family or hospitalization. Contact us before your course end date to explain your need for an extension.
