This course is designed to help individuals qualify as a pesticide applicator or dispenser by preparing for the Canadian Pesticide Applicator Certification exam. Completion of this course does not certify pesticide applicators or dispensers.
Information is based on the Canadian Pesticide Education Program Applicator Core Manual (2011 edition). Study topics include:

The participants will need email addresses, a computer with high-speed (1 Mbps or better) Internet access, and familiarity with computers, email and using the Internet. Note that the training may take each participant more than 8-10 hours to read through the course content, take the online quizzes, and complete the Applicator's Core Manual readings. Participants must complete the course within 8 weeks.
Please note that this course does not certify the participants as pesticide applicators, but prepares them for the core portion of a selection of category specific pesticide applicator certification exams. It will help them to acquire the core knowledge that forms the base of all pesticide application work in Canada.
