Welcome to the registration guide for the FoodSafe Level 1 Online course! This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully enroll and begin your journey toward understanding safe food handling practices.
Navigate to our official registration page for the FoodSafe Level 1 Online course. You can access it https://openschool.bc.ca/online/
Upon completing your purchase, you will receive an email containing your username and password for accessing the Account Manager. Please remember to check your junk or spam folder if you do not find the email in your inbox.
To access your account manager, open your web browser, enter the website's URL: https://eservicebc.ca/foodsafe/STUDENT/, log in with your username and password
Upon logging in for the first time, you might receive a prompt asking if you are registering yourself.
Please ensure your profile page reflects accurate demographic information and your current mailing address.
Click on the "Manager" page, where you'll enter the name and email of the student taking the course. They will receive their own credentials to access the course.
Once you're ready to begin your course on the course page, simply press the "Start my Course" button. This action will initiate your 20-day course access period.
Log in to your account on the course platform using the same credentials used to access the Account Manager.
Your Foodsafe Level 1 exam requires supervision. To arrange an invigilator, please use your Account Manager: https://eservicebc.ca/foodsafe/STUDENT/. To Schedule your exam Contact your invigilator directly
To take your exam, log in to the course website at https://mytraining.openschool.bc.ca/. You will need to complete the Photo ID quiz with your exam supervisor. The feedback for the Photo ID quiz includes your exam link. Your invigilator will provide you with the exam password from their Invigilator Account Website. Once started, you will have one hour to complete the exam.
After successfully completing the exam, a temporary certificate is provided, while official certificates typically take 4-6 weeks to be delivered. Official certificates are mailed out by your Local Health Authority.
